Basketball Official (Referee) Job Type: Part-time / On-Call (Per Game Basis) The Basketball Official provides certified officiating services for league and tournament basketball games at the DSCC Fitness Center. This role ensures all games are conducted safely, fairly, and in accordance with standard basketball rules and DSCC league requirements. Officials must arrive early, brief new participants, enforce rules, maintain game integrity, and deliver official game results. This position requires professionalism, strong knowledge of basketball regulations, and clear communication skills. Responsibilities: The candidate must: Officiate all scheduled regulation and tournament basketball games in accordance with standard rules and DSCC league guidelines. Arrive at least 10 minutes before each scheduled game and conduct a brief 5-minute instructional session for participants unfamiliar with league play.
