Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Java Software Engineer to sit in Columbus, Ohio. This candidate will be aligned to a platform automation project within their internal ERP system. Automation efforts will be assigned to internal developers, and this resource will be working within the middle tier of their internal system. The current code is written in .NET framework, but the new code being developed will be Java based. Candidates will be working with various teams and specifically aligned to their Billing Portal within the internal system focusing on the code for transitions in the middle tier to the customer/client facing tier and back office functions. **Your day-to-day**
Intern project assignments are focused on our World Class Manufacturing methodology and could be in areas such as:

The manager for the team is seeking a strong developer to build ETL programs and processes for the new platform. The architecture and design for the ETL environment is custom development using Korn Shell Scripting (KSH), SQL, and related tools. The data warehouse environment is Teradata.

Technical expertise will focus on KSH, SQL, Linux / Unix, and related skills.

2026 Information Technology - Local Government Summer Intern

The MORPC Local Government Summer Internship Program provides the opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to obtain practical work experience with a local government within MORPC's 15-county region to prepare them for possible careers in public service. MORPC coordinates the recruitment and placement of students to match each host's request; hosts make the final hiring decision and provide an hourly wage. Interns work for a host for a minimum of 16 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week for a 10- to 14-week period, which means there are both part-time and full-time positions available. The summer 2026 internship program will begin on May 12th and will end on August 14th.
Interns gain applicable knowledge to enhance classroom learning by working with current government professionals throughout Central Ohio and acquire insights into the services provided by a regional planning commission. Interns also can attend monthly commission meetings as well as special MORPC-sponsored events and are paired with a MORPC staff member to serve as their mentor during the summer internship program.
Previous IT interns have gained experience using PowerApps, Action 1, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, and other software programs on the job. Specific past assignments include:

2026 Information Technology - Local Government Summer Intern
Columbus, OH
The MORPC Local Government Summer Internship Program provides the opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to obtain practical work experience with a local government within MORPC's 15-county region to prepare them for possible careers in public service. MORPC coordinates the recruitment and placement of students to match each host's request; hosts make the final hiring decision and provide an hourly wage. Interns work for a host for a minimum of 16 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week for a 10- to 14-week period, which means there are both part-time and full-time positions available. The summer 2026 internship program will begin on May 12th and will end on August 14th.
Interns gain applicable knowledge to enhance classroom learning by working with current government professionals throughout Central Ohio and acquire insights into the services provided by a regional planning commission. Interns also can attend monthly commission meetings as well as special MORPC-sponsored events and are paired with a MORPC staff member to serve as their mentor during the summer internship program.

Overview
We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. What You'll Do
Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team's dataset roadmap to power Speechify's next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of industry experience in software development.
Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
