Responsibilities: Implementation of software quality standards across multiple programs Review customer, system and software requirements to ensure the flow down of requirements is complete and unambiguous. Review software design, code and unit test, integration, change specifications, and plans for contractual and/or process requirements. Perform process audits of software development processes to assure compliance to established policies, procedures, work instructions, and program specific plans. Interpret customer technical, software, and quality requirements and ensure those requirements are integrated into program plans, specifications, and product documents. Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation plans to assist program activities for processing software and materials into partially finished or finished products. Participate in contractual reviews and audits, program/IPT meetings, and configuration control board meetings. Collaborate with software engineering and systems engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place and followed. Witness execution of software qualification and system acceptance tests to ensure tests are executed in accordance with approved test procedures, requirements are fully verified, and that all test procedure and software anomalies are documented and tracked to closure. This role is an individual contributor supporting engineering activities on one or more assigned programs. The Software Engineer works with a team of other software engineers to develop software per design packages. This is an agile program using 2-week sprints and tracking work and bugs in JIRA. In this role, you will: + Participate in cross team collaboration. You will interface with system engineers to understand the design and test engineers to understand test results and bugs. + Complete SW Development in AWS using the following: Java Spring Boot, Golang, ReactJS/HTML/CSS, Maven, Git, Visual Studio Code, Docker, Developing on Linux, Jira. To be Successful in the role, you will have: + An active DoD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 years. + 5 Years of experience + Bachelors in Science in STEM + Software development experience in C, C++, C# and/or Java in Linux and/or Windows environment + The ability to travel up to 10% of the time. + The ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL.
