Responsibilities:
The QA Engineering Lead is responsible for designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks, tools, and quality engineering practices for an enterprise-wide data and automation platform. This role is deeply hands on building automated test suites, integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines, and driving shift-left testing with the engineering team.
The QA Engineering Lead partners with developers, data engineers, and platform teams to diagnose issues at the code, API, and data layers; maintain test environments; and ensure quality gates are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle. Technical and Testing Responsibilities

Establish metrics: Define and drive the adoption of quality metrics to measure test effectiveness and overall product quality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test cases, plans, and scripts.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical field is typically required.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation.
Testing Methodologies: Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Test Automation: Expertise in test automation libraries (e.g. unittest, PyTest, coverage etc.) and frameworks (DRF Test Suite, pytest-django etc.) and proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
Testing Types: Experience with various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, load, API (Experience with REST API testing using Postman, or similar tools) And user acceptance testing (UAT).
