Principal Software Engineer, AI Platform (ADAS)
Software Engineer Job In Baton Rouge, LA
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our AI/ML platform infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers to enhance our platform's capabilities for training complex models on large datasets efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to scale and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions.
+ Foundational AI/ML platform functionality development such as designing and developing scalable infrastructure to support training of machine learning models on large datasets.
+ Implementing mechanisms to monitor and manage resource utilization across multi-GPU on-prem and cloud environments.
+ Enhance machine learning platform abstractions and APIs to improve usability and productivity for data scientists and engineers.
+ Develop and maintain tools for model versioning, experiment tracking, and reproducibility.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies into the platform.
**Additional Job Description**
+ Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent major
+ 8+ years professional software engineering experience
+ 3+ years specialized experience in AI/ML infrastructure, e.g., enabling distributed training for scaling large ML models
+ Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
+ Experience with distributed computing, GPU computing, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
+ Willingness to travel to Mountain View as needed
+ Comfortable working in highly ambiguous and dynamic environments
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View three times per week, at minimum.
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
+ The salary range for this role is $225,000 and $334,800. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

* Maintain, customize, and optimize existing business software for clients;

* Customize business applications and their UI design, manage databases, develop API, write script and scheduled actions, design reports and create new custom applications.

Minimum Requirements:

* 1 year Odoo development experience, must include customizing existing apps and creating new modules with clean and re-usable code in different Odoo versions (V12, V13, V14, V15).

* 6 months' experience using Python, GitHub, Odoo.SH, and Docker.
