Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Java Software Engineer to sit in Columbus, Ohio. This candidate will be aligned to a platform automation project within their internal ERP system. Automation efforts will be assigned to internal developers, and this resource will be working within the middle tier of their internal system. The current code is written in .NET framework, but the new code being developed will be Java based. Candidates will be working with various teams and specifically aligned to their Billing Portal within the internal system focusing on the code for transitions in the middle tier to the customer/client facing tier and back office functions. Candidates need to have worked in an AWS environment and have some exposure to event driven architecture (General structure).

Scope of Service:
The Archer IRM Senior Developer will serve as a key subject matter expert for the Archer SaaS solution, providing both technical and business analysis expertise. This role requires a deep understanding of the Archer IRM platform, as well as the ability to lead teams in an Agile support model. The Senior Developer will be responsible for performing development, customization, and support tasks, while working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Archer IRM, Agile methodologies, and a utility background is a plus. Open to remote locations.
Role, Responsibilities & Deliverables:
• Provide support, maintenance, and enhancement technical activities under general direction
• Direct junior/intermediate resources through the systems development life cycle
• Respond to varying business requirements
• Perform many assigned technical tasks including study, analysis, design, programming, and product installation
• Have product, technology, or industry-related specialized skills, and regularly work with proposals, requirements, design, implementation and production Projects/engagements
• Interface with Customers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and IT Infrastructure as necessary in regards to Application availability and project related information
• Participate in and support all Service Processes and ensures adherence to technical standards
• Provide analytical ability and creativity in developing and implementing solution deliverables for large and medium size projects
• Provide technical advice to Project Managers and Team Leads as well as offer technical direction to team members including Service Providers, Approved Subcontractors, or Customer personnel
• Provide proactive monitoring, alerting, reporting, testing, and communication with the Team Lead(s) and Project Managers
• Participate in the translation of the Customer's business requirements to a specific system, Application, or process design (this may include working as a team member with Customer personnel, Solution Architects and/or Business Analysts to identify functional and non-functional requirements and subsequently work on the identification, justification and design of the solution for the Customer) •Participate in multiple design activities from requirements analysis to systems, application and/or process design specification
• Lead efforts in detection and remedy of defects/issues identified during testing •Ensure application and security system documentation and technical training materials are developed and maintained A NiSource Junior/Intermediate Developer will:
• Perform a technical role in support of the solution construction, implementation, and system integration in a technology/industry specialty
•Assist in the delivery of high quality solutions to the Customer in response to specific business requirements
• Participate in and support all Service Processes and ensures adherence to the Customer's technical standards
• Interface with Customers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and IT Infrastructure as necessary regarding application availability and project related information
• Perform coding, unit testing, and debugging of Application programs
• Perform system and integration testing of Application programs
• Perform assigned technical tasks including study, analysis, programming, and product installation
• Use tools to analyze and implement portions of a solution for Customer •Provide post implementation functional and technical support on application enhancements or upgrades
• Identify and communicate emergency system issues
• Provide analytical support necessary to develop and implement solutions for small to medium size projects or components/elements of larger projects
• Ensure Application and security system documentation is developed and maintained and assist with the creation and maintenance of technical training materials
Required Qualifications:
• Senior level: 7+ years experience in role with:
• Archer IRM Experience, knowledge, and exposure to various project delivery methodologies (Iterative, Agile)
• Strong process orientation and analytical/problem solving skills including the ability to interpret and clarify technical issues
• Demonstrated facilitation skills, written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills, and the ability to deliver clear, concise presentations •Demonstrated team spirit with strong adaptability, openness to feedback, and the ability to work cooperatively and creatively across an organization
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated experience working under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated experience working independently in high-priority situations •Demonstrated understanding of business case justification methodology used to recommend process improvements or technology enhancements

Machining Lead & Programmer

Full-time Description
The purpose of this position is to work in, coordinate with, and lead within the Machine & Tool department. In addition, this position provides CAD support and programming for all departments.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Works to supply products and services that meet or exceed the customers' expectations. Follows the documented quality systems and processes to satisfy our customers' needs.
· Work as a programmer, machine setup, and operate machines, which is approximately 75% of a scheduled day in production as required per the production needs.
o Provide CAD support (2D & 3D) for all departments.
o Program CNC machines.
o Recommend, specify and purchase tooling for machining disciplines.
o Create drawings to enable determination of materials requirements and task sequences.
o Assist in quoting with regards to programming, machining time estimates and tooling costs.
o Support sales department by assisting with RFQ downloads of customer drawings, CAD layouts and customer drawing interpretations.
· As a lead in the Production Control Department, which is approximately 25% of scheduled day.
o Distribute production schedules or work orders to operators.
o Consult with Supervisor, Scheduler, Plant Manager, or other personnel to set priorities, assess progress and discuss the needed changes.
o Ensure that associates follow process, procedure, and safety policies per company requirements.
o Ensure accuracy and completeness of associates operational paperwork, and record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.
o Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sales, or production.
o Manage and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands, including requisitions and cycle counts.
o Recommend process changes for quality performance, continuous improvement, cost effectiveness and excellent customer service.
o Contribute to the completion and effectiveness of training plans, cross training, and training events.
o Support in assessing performance, monitoring progress, and addressing issues and concerns.
· May assist Plant Manager or other Supervisors in other duties or special projects as needed.

· This position supervises work of assembly, machine operators, machinists and tool and die makers and will train other temporary workers or employees new to these positions. Is required to direct the actions of those select employees.
