In this role, you will ensure our products meet the highest quality standards by developing inspection processes, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. You will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality assurance standards, procedures, and documentation to support production processes. Conduct regular audits and inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action processes for internal and customer quality issues. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality problems and implement improvements. Maintain quality records, reports, and metrics for tracking performance and supporting audits. Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment. Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process and product improvements. Communicate quality standards and expectations to production staff and provide training when necessary. Participate in new product launches to ensure quality requirements are met from the start. Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and improve incoming material standards. Required Qualifications, Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field. 2+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and related standards. Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and control plans. Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and gauges. Familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T. Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications, Education & Experience: Experience with ERP and QMS software Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar credential is a plus.
