About the role:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests.

Must demonstrate ability to own tasks and defects and see through to completion to meet estimates.
Provide subject matter expert knowledge in Quality Assurance best practices, tools, and software.
Building strong relationships across multiple engineering teams and with stakeholders
Identify, log and track software defects.
Continually build knowledge and proficiency in testing methodologies
Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics.
Participate in SAFe and Agile meetings as appropriate.
Adoption of DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies
What you will need:
A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
5+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, Web applications, and Windows services.
Hands-on software testing experience with in-depth knowledge of automation techniques
Knowledge of application development, software testing and quality management.
Experience with primary database engines and the ability to write data validation and troubleshooting queries.
Proficient in the use of at least one test automation framework.
Good understanding of Windows operating systems (Linux a plus).
Ability to work within a very collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Must be detail oriented.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.

About the team
FIS CD Margin Team is a global team in charge of developing, maintaining, and supporting margin calculation methodologies for FIS SDT solutions ranging between GMI, UBIX, FIS CD BRM and FIS CD Margin Advisor covering most of Exchange Traded Derivatives markets. To ensure this critical mission, the team is made of a group of highly experienced business analysts, software developers and quality assurance engineers.
What you will be doing
As a senior softwareengineer within the Margin Team, you will participate in developing, maintaining, and supporting FIS CD margin engine and its integration with FIS's back-office solutions: GMI, UBIX and CD BRM.
As we transition to our next generation back-office solution FIS CD BRM, you'll participate in the global team effort to ensure business continuity on our main back-office solution, GMI and at the same time participate in building and maintaining our next generation margin solution, FIS CD Margin Engine creating a bridge between our present and future line of products.
- Design, develop and maintain our next generation margin engine (Java.)
- Help with its integration with GMI back-office (IBM i / RPGLE.)
- Work with other team members to gather requirements, design solutions, develop and test applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug Java applications.
- Provide level 3 support to our clients.
