Visit customer sites to evaluate machine upgrades to guarding, problematic mechanical assemblies, mechanical upgrades, etc. Quote solutions based on site visit evaluations. Participate in the installation of solutions. Design P&ID's in Draftsight/AutoCAD. Work closely with Electrical and Software Engineering. Conduct design reviews with customers at the company and on customers' floor. Compile and release BOM's for all aspects of mechanical section of project. Participate with debug and testing of assigned projects. Participate in FAT's of assigned projects with customers. Participate in machine installations/startups on customer's floor.
