The Department of Computer Science at Boise State University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, seeking applicants in software engineering particularly those with research that complements current areas of strength in the department such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing a strong research program funded by external sources, supporting and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and providing service to the University and the profession along with other activities typical for a tenure-track faculty. Department overview: Over the last ten years, Boise State University has made a significant investment in the growth of the Department of Computer Science, with nineteen new faculty lines, a building in downtown Boise, and several new undergraduate and graduate programs. A new undergraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence Science was started in Fall 2025.
