The Midwest Electromagnetics Test Labs team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will lead the software group within our discipline. The successful candidate should be familiar with test automation frameworks and coding in C# and C++ and should be a proactive learner of advancing technologies. The SDET will work closely with the team to ensure the high coding standards are maintained. The position will involve building and maintaining our automation test suite and framework (some legacy code) and manual testing as required. The individual should have a persistent hunger to learn and solve problems in pursuit of continuous improvement. The candidate must also maintain a disciplined approach to configuration management, develop a vision for our software-hardware automation convention, and exemplify an open and receptive Software team leadership model. Software engineers are responsible for developing software and software tests throughout all phases of the software development life cycle (requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification). The software engineer will develop software in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software build pipeline using an agile methodology focused on code quality, security, and automation.
