Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our team supporting the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. This position is located at Eglin AFB in Florida.
This role will be a critical member of the Software deployment team that will be responsible for deploying, debugging, and implementing corrective actions to ensure a stable and operable DARC system. The core DARC SW development team is headquartered out of Colorado Springs, and it is expected that this position will collaborate extensively from the site at Eglin AFB.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Install and deploy DARC SW on the DARC System.
Document and report back on problem or deficiency reports.
Collaborate with the SW team located back in Colorado Springs to effectively troubleshoot, and debug SW identified SW issues.
Support ongoing SW development and feature integration for future DARC SW releases while in Colorado Spring.
