Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of technical, both routine and moderately complex tasks that provide familiarity with programs, staff, and operating procedures.
Collaborate and work under the direction of engineers to support Code Consulting, Fire Protection engineering and/or Security design efforts.
Performs developmental assignments involving the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under close supervision.
Applies prescribed method to complete limited and specific portions of the broader assignment of an experienced engineer, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
Qualifications:
Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Chemical, or other related engineering fields
At least two years of undergraduate schooling
Responsible self-starter with problem solving and reasoning skills
Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills to write reports, business correspondence, presentations and procedure manuals, and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public
Passion for advancing the science of making our world safe, secure and resilient and exceeding our client expectations
