Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to provide a professional seal for permitting procedures. 10+ years of experience in at least three of the following industries: Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Polymers/Resins Compounding, or Manufacturing. Proven leadership and delegation skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Advanced knowledge of building codes and civil/structural design standards. Strong experience acting as project manager on civil/structural projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, STAAD, STAAD Foundation, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD. Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with the product team, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and ensure alignment with business needs. Mentorship & Development: Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth and development within the team. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices. Qualifications Experience: 8+ years of total relevant industry experience, with a strong focus on backend development and systems integration. 1-5 years of experience with Node.js for backend API development, including performance optimization and system integration. 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Python for backend services, automation, and data processing. 1-3 years working with JavaScript/TypeScript-based front-end frameworks such as React and Next.js (front-end experience is a plus). 1-3 years working in Agile teams, with experience in Scaled Agile (such as SAFe) being highly advantageous. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python, with the ability to write high quality, maintainable and efficient code. Skilled in modern frameworks such as Next.js for building scalable, high performance applications. Preferred skills (Additional experience that is a plus to have): Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, including ontology development, data integration, and operational workflows, is a plus. Oracle Fusion ERP (Financial, inventory management or additional related modules) experience is a plus, particularly with backend or data integration use cases.
