This position provides technical leadership for a team of testers, but is also responsible for developing software verification plans, test procedures and test environments; executing the test procedures; interpreting tests for software products, application code, system processes, or modifications to these software processes. Responsible for documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met; and preparing documentation of these activities for delivery. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions to the responsible developer. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
