Primary Responsibilities:
+ Work from applicable written inspection procedures and drawings.
+ Accept or refer material for rework or quality review based on findings.
+ Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments.

+ Perform daily walk arounds to prior to testing
+ Receive-in and inspect testing specimens for accuracy
+ Sort priorities as needed
+ Operate multiple machines for Specimen testing
+ Comply with all training required, including Quality procedures as well as MCL Manuals and Standard Work.
+ Log testing data in UGA
+ Maintain required log books
Lab Inspection:
+ Ensure incoming specimens meet J section specifications
+ Visually inspect specimens and with the usage of gages
+ Ensure specimens are prioritized correctly
+ Ensure receiver number, shop dimensions, and alloy data matches the envelope
Grainsize:
+ Perform internal and external grainsize operations on parts
+ Follow blueprints, Work Instructions and GBMOP to mark locations accurately
+ Utilize different chemicals for the etching process
+ Prepare specimens by operating different equipment and polishing methods
+ Use Solumina and UGA for data recording
+ Perform grainsize readings on the microscope
All:
+ Perform 6s each shift
+ Engage in process optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings
+ Complete all training within the expected time given

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's
degree in programming/systems or computer science (preferred),
specialized training, certification, and at least six or more years of
programming/systems analysis experience; or at an equivalent combination
of education and experience
Microsoft MCSD (Certified Solutions Developer) (preferred for Distributed Developers)
Experience
and understanding of multiple programming languages, systems, as well
as systems and data design and project management methodologies
