Gas - POD 30 Test Stand Job Overview: Gas Test Room requires an individual to test 20+ engines per day. If an engine were to fail on the test stand the individual is required to diagnosis and problem, solve engine failures. They may also do minor repairs to a failed engine. This position requires utilizing a hoist to move the assembled engine (weighs 300 to 500 pounds), torque wrench and impact gun to tighten bolts. Coordinate special projects for the QA Department, as necessary. 3. Maintain and ensure accurate measuring and testing systems. 4. Set up equipment and/or implement new test methods in the quality department. 5. Perform Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), by use of gauge correlation and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GRR). 6. Compile data into statistical formats that will aid in problem solving and/or continuous improvement. 7. Lead or assist in customer complaint investigations. 8. Work in partnership with the production team to devise appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence. 9. Write appropriate root cause and corrective action investigation reports. 10. Extract appropriate data from internal containment system and customer complaint databases. 11. Gather and analyze external complaints and internal containments to derive better corrective actions and/or team investigations. 12.
