The Performance Assurance Engineer is responsible to identify an issue in the operation and efficiency of designed systems and subsequently help resolve any concerns. Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems for driverless technology company. Duties may include: Build simulations for testing AV (Autonomous vehicle) software stack to discover issues and act as gating for software releases. Collaborate with cross functional teams including Data Science (DS) and Systems Engineering (SE) for designing gating/non-gating protocols to track existing issues and detect progression/regression in AV software in every release and PR merges. Design and build solutions for generating complex simulation scenarios programmatically using Python and SQL to stress test the AV software. Create test plans for new features and capabilities to validate AV software performance. Build new tools and solutions for increasing the productivity of the Systems Testing team to improve quality of company- wide testing deliverables.
