Responsibilities
Communicating major issues in equipment performance and maintenance to the managers; Supporting the team in implementing robust solutions to improve overall efficiency, yield, and uptime of the equipment. Communication to suppliers for maintenance and / or repair which includes packaging the tooling is housed in.
Complying with safety, health, and environmental guidelines and participating in continuous improvement of the procedures while performing equipment maintenance.
Functions in a technical role in field tooling for all product lines. Typically responsible for overhaul, modification, repair, test, and the safety of all tooling as well as preventive maintenance procedures and certifications.
Tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance parts consumption, and scheduled preventive maintenance procedures using Solar applications as well as maintaining the tooling database also known as TPAS for

Minimum Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a Warehouse/Manufacturing environment
Strong Mechanical Aptitude
Incumbent will need to be able to move, shift, lift, and carry tooling in a safe manner daily as well as understand basic hand tools.
Will need to be able to operate equipment ranging from forklifts, pallets jacks, drill press, grinders, welder.
Must be able to work in a group setting as well as perform tasks individually with little supervision.
Must be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and early mornings to accommodate and satisfy any customer needs.
Summary Pay Range:
$51,674.00 - $77,510.00

Position Summary
The Preconstruction Director serves as a key member of each project team. The successful candidate will lead McCarthy's team efforts to provide preconstruction services to our clients. Depending on the specifics of the project, may be the primary day-to-day contact of the owner and the design team with McCarthy during the preconstruction period.

* Participates in interviews and interview preparation for negotiated bids.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with bidding opportunities and preconstruction services, development of chart of accounts, CPM schedules, detailed scopes of work and site logistics plan and with the shop drawing and submittal process
Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents
Manage McCarthy's labor force to achieve optimum performance, providing leadership in the quality process and safety/accident prevention programs, as well as EEO and Affirmative Action programs
Review and understand material/equipment budgets and negotiate purchase orders/rental rates, monitoring project costs and identifying areas for improvement
Document daily construction activities
Chair weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
Qualifications
10+ years' experience with healthcare, commercial, laboratory, aviation, education and/or parking structures construction required
Knowledge of construction principles/practices required
Experience directing and coordinating trades with self-perform concrete background preferred
Experience working with Project Management team including successful completion of projects

The Civil Estimator position establishes the fundamental principles for an individual's growth and success within McCarthy's Preconstruction career path. The Civil Estimator will participate in all aspects of the bid/estimating process, including but not limited to - review of plans and specs, soliciting and negotiating prices with subcontractors/suppliers, quantity take-off, pricing, scoping and bidding of construction process. Key Responsibilities
Estimating Support for Projects
Performs quantity take-offs.
Assists in the pricing and bidding of construction projects.
Communicates with architects and consultants to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements, and documents these clarifications.
Conducts reviews of milestone documents for the development and pricing of value alternative opportunities.
Actively participates in the internal estimate review process.
Assists with final assembly of estimate for presentation to owner.
After the bid, collects and organizes all bid information for future reference.
Aids field operations with change order pricing if needed.
Subcontractor Analysis for Bids
Directs, coordinates and provides information and documents to subcontractors.
Prepares contractual exhibits for scope of work for subcontracts.
Participates in hard bid/estimating and GMP budgeting activities by soliciting subcontractor support and evaluating bids.
Industry Knowledge/Relationships
Builds relationships with subcontractors to obtain a competitive advantage for McCarthy.
Attends industry events and represents McCarthy to the industry in a professional capacity.
Builds and maintains relationships with internal McCarthy clients.
Keeps current with latest estimating technology and techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related major and 1-3 years of experience required.
Basic knowledge of estimating technology and tools such as On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Assemble, Revit and Bluebeam or related software required.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications required
Must demonstrate behaviors consistent with McCarthy core values while maintaining a "value added" approach to estimating.
Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
General knowledge of construction principles and processes, as well as negotiated/hard bids and GMP processes preferred.
