SUMMARY

We are looking for general laborer to assist on the staging of materials on site. The projects are in early stages so materials need to be staged in the right locations in order to ensure that the project can unfold effectively. Candidate will be required to load and unload for trucks and skid steers. They will be required to work in team to unload racking and ballast material. They may be asked to perform some land clearing in necessary.

TYPICAL DAY

Start time 7am

Days will be 8-10 hours depending on the progress of the project. Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime.

Candidates will be at the worksite trailer in the morning and will be given their tasks for the day.

Solar general labor tasks that include:

Load and unload equipment and materials

Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts

Solar panel install

Rigging

Racking assembly

Torque tube assembly

Pile layout

General cleanup and clearing of debris

All other duties as assigned

There is no education requirement

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Candidates must be able to lift, bend and move about the job site. The site is a landfill so it is a large grassy field.

EQUIPMENT/CERTIFICATIONS

GL candidates will be required to have an OSHA 10 before starting onsite.

GL candidates must have a cordless impact gun and basic hand tools listed below.

• Cordless drill/impact (14.4V or greater), multiple batteries

• Unibit and multiple drill bits (wood, metal, masonry)

• Socket wrench with deep sockets

• Nut drivers (most common PV sizes are 7/16", ", 9/16")

• Wire strippers

• Crimpers

• Needle-nose pliers

• Lineman's pliers

• Slip-joint pliers/Channel Locks
