WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
As one of our Solar Installers, you are responsible for assisting the team lead with all aspects of the solar installation for homeowners and small business owners. Solar Installers receive company-provided safety equipment and tools. You feel accomplished knowing your efforts contribute to the success of our business. If you can do those things and meet the following requirements, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, forklifts, and safety equipment.
- Ability to travel daily with overnight stays about 5% of the time.
- Attend safety meetings and comply with all safety regulations.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Corporate office.
- Must be able to work in outdoor temperatures.
- Use of email and technology required.
- 2 or more years construction and/or electrical knowledge is preferred.
- roofing experience is helpful.
- The ability to obtain a Class E License or above not required but helpful.
- Prior solar installation experience not required. Training will be provided.

Salary Range is $20/hr.-$26/hr.
- $2,000 sign on bonus (based on experience)
As a Solar Installer at PosiGen, you will:
- Ensure quality, safety, and customer communication is met at the highest level.
- Install solar systems in accordance with NEC and Building codes using layouts, line diagram schematics, and engineering reports
- Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment
- Maintain a clean work site
- Follow organization policies and procedures including OSHA requirements; Complete OSHA training as required
- Attend organization, safety and training meetings as required
This position requires travel to various locations. A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
Education/ Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of three years of experience working on roofs required
- Previous experience with residential and/or commercial solar installations preferred
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
- Must possess a current and valid state driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Certification
