Beitzel Corporation is now accepting applications for (5) full-time Solar Installation Technicians. The Solar Installation Technician will provide physical and general labor to solar panel system projects, along with various other construction, mechanical and industrial projects. This position requires mechanical knowledge and aptitude, along with a basic knowledge of industrial electrical practices. Other projects may involve, but not be limited to the following industries: Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Factories, Production Plants, Coal, Wind Energy, etc.

The Solar Installation Technician will require a flexible schedule with extensive travel and out-of-town work. The Solar Installation Technician will be assigned to the Solar Services Group of the Beitzel Corporation Field Services Division.
+ Install mechanical and electrical components of a solar energy system

+ Verify job components prepared for a specific job

+ Run conduit and cables from solar panels to combiner boxes

+ Layout and construct solar modules/arrays and mounting hardware

+ Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment

+ Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)

+ Familiarity working at heights (100% tie-off)

+ Provide communication with Project Managers to ensure work is performed according to specifications

+ Complete appropriate forms, reports and other required paperwork

+ Analyze project requirements and perform to meet deadlines

+ Provide technical support and on-site troubleshooting and repair for customers

+ Operate machinery such as but not limited to: forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, and dozers

+ Filling out daily JSA and performing safe work habits and reinforcing safety to all team members

+ Responding to phone calls and texts after hours and on weekends within a timely manner

+ Maintain company tools and vehicle in excellent condition

+ Valid driver's license required
