Competitive pay Immediate start This position requires strong electrical experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Position Summary As the Industrial Electrician, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as, motors, hydraulic pneumatic, be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer-controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Must be able to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs and operating instructions and have a record of dependability and outstanding job attendance Assist in the maintaining of preventive maintenance schedule for all electronics/equipment Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors Troubleshooting maintaining and installing electrical equipment. Provide technical assistance on the design, repair, or improvement of equipment QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrician within a manufacturing environment An Associate degree in Electrical Technology and/or graduation from an acceptable Technical Training Institution in an electrical or electronic systems program is preferred. Proven experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment essential Must be able to read and understand complex program and equipment manuals with a high degree of comprehension and accuracy Possess experience in AC/DC motor control.
