First year On-Target Earnings are $80,000 - $120,000.
The Solar Shingle Specialist (SSS) meets with and educates homeowners on the benefits of GAF's DecoTech and Timberline Solar Roofing Systems and energy efficiency home upgrades from PosiGen. This individual will build their book of business for PosiGen's CT FIT program, where we offer to replace a homeowner's roof at no cost so long as we put solar panels on their roof and capture the energy production.
Solar Shingle Specialists receive some leads, but are expected to generate the majority of the leads themselves through door-to-door canvassing, cold calls, developing referral networks, and more.

All Energy Solar is seeking a full time Inside Sales - Solar Specialist to join our team. The Solar Specialist is the front line representative for most of All Energy Solar's residential customers and is responsible for qualifying leads into appointments for the sale of PV systems. The Solar Specialist is an authority on qualifying aspects of a solar purchase such as site characteristics, customer motivations, rate plans, available incentives, and utilities. The Solar Specialist is responsible for educating homeowners about accessibility of solar energy and for embodying the goals and vision that define All Energy Solar.
Duties
Complete a high volume of sales call daily
Qualify leads by determining solar energy accessibility
Overcome common objections
Schedule consultations for our Solar Power Consultants
Exceed set sales targeted quota

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Use your skills to educate homeowners how to reduce their carbon footprint by putting solar on their home. This fast paced, exciting position has a lot of growth potential for a self-motivated team player. This position requires a unique combination of technical & communication skills and takes a consultative approach to the sale of PV solar systems. This is a non-commission role, and the applicant should love working on a team in a collaborative environment within our democratically run Cooperative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and sell residential PV solar systems.
- Use a consultative sales and design approach to help meet project goals of the customer.
- Prepare proposals for potential customers and present the benefits via video conference or phone.
- Manage your sales pipeline and log all customer communication using Salesforce CRM.
- Prepare purchase agreements and take the customer through the closing process.
- Set expectations with the customer and educate them on the installation timeline & process.
- Communicate with Residential Operations to effectively handoff projects for implementation.
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales Team and other departments.
- Exchange knowledge, share best practices, and be open to giving and receiving feedback.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Outstanding communication and follow-up skills.
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
- Practice self-awareness, accountability, confidence, and poise while juggling numerous tasks and responsibilities.
- Must be organized and detail oriented with experience managing a large pipeline.
