Richard Riman has been at Rutgers for over 27 years and is currently a tenured distinguished professor teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Current research efforts focus on green ceramic manufacturing methods providing sustainable solutions to significant technological and environmental problems. His research interests span photonic, biomedical, electronic and structural fields.

Vahit Atakan is a Chief Scientist at Solidia Technologies and is based in New York City, New York. He has worked as Senior Technical Program Manager at Solidia Technologies; Director, Research & Development at Solidia Technologies; and Research Associate at Rutgers University. Vahit attended Rutgers University between 2001 and 2006, TED Ankara Koleji between 1985 and 1992, and Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 1993 and 1998.

Responsible for the commercialization of Solidia’s technologies, including agreements with essential business partners, Bo’s diverse experience includes start-up ventures, recapitalized turnarounds, and leadership for maturing businesses in need of innovation and strategic marketing and sales initiatives. Bo previously served in a variety of leadership and sales and marketing roles, including as managing partner of Ravenwood Consulting Group, Inc., a North American-based consultancy focused on revenue quality, commercialization of new product and service offerings, and strategic planning; in Citigroup Venture Capital’s portfolio of building products manufacturers; and with Saint Gobain’s North American building products group. He earned his undergraduate degree in marketing management from Virginia Tech, M.B.A. from Wake Forest University, and Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
