Solution developer job description

• 7+ years' experience as a full-stack Developer (Software Developer, Software Engineer, Web Developer or similar role)

• 5+ years' experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming languages

• Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET

• Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. .Net, C#, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)

• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)

• Ability to learn new languages and technologies

As our TI solution testing intern, you will learn about our TI process and interact with scientists, developers, and engineers to support the creation of an end-to-end digital platform for TI, by speeding up the continuous development-integration-testing-deployment cycle. You will become a key member of the team that is leading the development of a fully integrated and highly automated global digital solution for TI, to accelerate the delivery of high-quality elite trait conversions to the business.

You will:

Familiarize yourself enough with the TI process to independently perform testing of the new digital solutions that are being developed

Complete testing and evaluation of novel features/functionalities/model enhancements that are built in both existing and new TI solutions

Provide feedback and direction to both TI scientists and software engineers/ developers based on the testing and evaluation of new digital solutions

Contribute to the development of integrated and automated digital systems to support TI

PowerSecure is looking for our next team member to join the Energy Solutions Developer team, a valuable part of our Energy Efficiency Services division, based out of Greensboro, NC. We have one position and we're flexible with the skill level for this position, including entry level applicants.

Energy Solutions Developer I-entry level-Advanced Excel skills with 0-3 years work experience or related course work

Our Energy Solutions Developer's primary job function is to create energy saving lighting proposals for performance contracting. The Energy Solutions Developer role is to review and evaluate the provided survey data, analyze lighting designs, run light level analyses, specify materials, calculate construction costs and energy savings, and prepare a final Excel proposal and written summary for submittal. This position designs and budgets all projects that go into construction, and additionally works as the backbone support on overseeing projects from initial audits through final construction closeouts. This is an analytical position that centers around manipulating data.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is preferred but a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
Experience reading construction blueprints is highly desirable
Must be able to create and read sophisticated Microsoft Excel formulas
Experience in construction and / or electrical estimating highly desirable
Experience in the lighting and/or lighting controls industry highly desired
