BGS Central Maintenance Computing System (CMCS) team in either Hazelwood or Berkeley, Missouri has immediate and exciting opportunities for a Mid-Level CMCS Electronic System Design and Analysis Engineer to support multiple critical programs.
The electrical design work will be in support of developing maintenance equipment to include connections between equipment and aircraft subsystems, network infrastructure, and computing hardware supporting instrumentation and network system connections. The Electronic System Design and Analysis Engineer in this role works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, and then analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications; performs tests and validations to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, as well as monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and solves problems concerning other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, while researching specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Project Summary:
This project will standardize and rationalize the radiology and cardiology clinical imaging platforms across the firm's market. These health hospitals have standalone PACS of cardiology and radiology currently, this project will standardize & rationalize these on the IBM Watson health imagining suite of applications (MERGE PACS on the cardiology side & MERGE PACS on the radiology side) and will be hosting the archives on the IBM Data Centers. Calling this a hybrid Cloud Implementation. The firm will be leveraging IBM's cloud to store a portion of the images but will also have On Premises business continuity business hardware that will be deployed in each market, in the event there's a failure from hosted environments.
This position is remote with 25/35% travel, but the project is focused on CST and EST markets. The ideal candidate will be traveling to go live sites for the firm's hospitals and will be traveling every two months and sometimes every other month just depends on the go live dates which aren't set yet. The ideal candidate will be paid for the travel time as well as expenses with the exception of liquor and seat upgrades.
Requirements for this role:
Must Have: Must have 2 years of experience working with Merge PACS only for this role. Strong Merge PACS or Merge Unity on the Radiology side is a must.
Must Have: 5+ years of experience as a PACS Admin or Implementation Analyst focused on Radiology Implementations.
Must Have: Creating worklists and Go Live with strong PACS experience. The ideal candidate will be working on Biomed where they will update modality work lists. (MWL)
Must Have: Very strong troubleshooting skills. Someone that has migrated 1000s of modalities would be great but not a must
Must Have: Strong understanding with configuring modalities machines for where hospitals will store and query information.

Additionally, the engineer will provide support for fabrication, installation/connection, and required verification to deliver a ready-for-test setup. The equipment and software for the CMCS is used to support all phases of platform/weapon development and sustainment lifecycle. This individual will work in a team environment to develop, test, and repair the hardware design for the CMCS system.
The Electronic System Design and Analysis Engineer in this role works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, and then analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications; performs tests and validations to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, as well as monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and solves problems concerning other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, while researching specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years familiarity with electrical avionics system design including electrical systems and subsystems design, interface cable design between electrical system and platform, electrical hardware/software integration, coordination with vendors for part selection, and general test experience to do hardware/software testing of the system in a lab
Experience or knowledge of VPX/VME form factor
Experience or knowledge of RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553 communication standards, protocols and/or interface
Technical system domain knowledge (e.g. air vehicle and/or weapons)
Experience with product/systems development and integration
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Experience or knowledge of cyber security principles or cyber certifications

Project Summary:
This project will standardize and rationalize the radiology and cardiology clinical imaging platforms across the firm's market. These health hospitals have standalone PACS of cardiology and radiology currently, this project will standardize & rationalize these on the IBM Watson health imagining suite of applications (MERGE PACS on the cardiology side & MERGE PACS on the radiology side), will be hosting the archives on the IBM Data Centers. Calling this a hybrid Cloud Implementation. They will be leveraging IBM's cloud to store a portion of the images but will also have On Premises business continuity business hardware that will be deployed in each market, so in the event of a failure from hosted environments.
The role is remote with 20-30% travel but the project is focused on CST and EST markets. The ideal candidate will be traveling to go live sites for the firms' hospitals every two months and sometimes every other month just depends on the go live dates which aren't set yet. The ideal candidate will be paid for the travel time as well as expenses with the exception of liquor and seat upgrades.
