The Technology Engineering Principal Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical expertise and architectural solutions for Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with focus on identity management and optimization of Microsoft cloud services.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement vendor-neutral identity and access management architecture that integrates with various enterprise systems
Develop comprehensive IAM strategies leveraging best practices across multiple platforms while maintaining strong expertise in Microsoft identity solutions
Analyze and communicate industry trends in identity management technologies that benefit OCC to IT management

Responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end performance, scalability, and resilience strategies for mission-critical, high-transaction platforms. This role operates at the intersection of architecture, cloud engineering, DevOps, and data, ensuring systems perform predictably under peak load, irregular operations, and extreme scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Strategy - Define performance engineering strategy across application, API, data, and infrastructure layers.
Establish non-functional requirements (NFRs) for latency, throughput, availability, and scalability.
Design performance-first architectures for cloud-native and hybrid environments.
Lead capacity planning, traffic modeling, and peak-load forecasting.
Performance Engineering & Testing:
Architect and govern load, stress, endurance, spike, and chaos testing frameworks.
Design reusable performance test harnesses for microservices, event-driven, and streaming systems.
Identify system bottlenecks across compute, network, storage, and data layers.
Drive shift-left performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Cloud & Platform Optimization:
Optimize systems in GCP using autoscaling, caching, and resource right-sizing.
Architect performance strategies for Kubernetes, service mesh, and container orchestration.
Optimize API gateways, message brokers (Kafka/Pub-Sub), and data platforms.
Guide performance tuning for Databases, Data Lakes, and Streaming Platforms.
Observability & Reliability:
Observability standards using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
Correlate performance metrics with business KPIs and customer experience.
Partner with SRE teams on SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Lead performance triage during major incidents and IROPs.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as architectural authority for performance decisions across programs.
Collaborate with product, operations, and executive stakeholders.
Provide performance sign-off for major releases and transformations.
Technical Skills:
Performance engineering tools: JMeter, Appscan, Dynatrace, Gatling, k6.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
