Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and support in two key Microsoft tech stacks:
Microsoft 365 solutions including Identity & Access Management, Security & Compliance, Exchange Online, and Intune.
Azure IaaS and Security services such as Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Virtual Machines, Azure Files, Virtual Networks, Subnets, VPN Gateways, and Express Routes.
Serve as a technical lead on Security and Compliance projects, providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise.
Conduct security assessments and implement Zero Trust Architecture methodologies for Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior consultants.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend best practices.
Partner with Project Managers to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage tasks and backlogs across multiple engagements.
Stay current on Microsoft trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Identity & Access Management, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
Proficient in PowerShell (Entra, Microsoft Graph, Exchange Online, Security & Compliance modules).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and mentor team members.
Analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and business analysis skills.
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals & Administrator Expert Cert, preferred.
Information Protection & Compliance Administrator Associate Cert, preferred.
Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200), preferred.

Location:

Compensation:
Base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000, + performance-based bonus program. Eligibility and payout are tied to individual contributions, team performance, and company success.
This is the established pay range for the Senior SolutionArchitect role on the Security & Compliance practice at JourneyTeam. Actual compensation is dependent on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. In general, new employees can expect to start at the lower end of the range (with opportunity to grow and expand within the organization).
