TEST AND BALANCE/CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN The Test and Balance/ Cleanroom Technician will perform preventative maintenance, in addition to certified testing, correcting, and balancing specialized heating, and cooling of ventilation systems of large local commercial areas. Principal Duties and Accountabilities: Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements. Perform certifications for fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets. Measure and document both viable and non-viable particulates. Ability to identify and troubleshoot various air handling systems, exhaust systems, ductwork, and fluid flow equipment associated with commercial and industrial HVAC applications. We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to support daily manufacturing operations by inspecting product quality, documenting results, and ensuring customer requirements are met. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing QC experience who enjoys problem‑solving, collaborating with production teams, and helping prevent defects before products ship. Responsibilities: Perform and document 2-3 quality inspections on all production lines per shift to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Maintain and file retain samples in accordance with quality and customer requirements. Review and approve QC Hold and BR-1 staging areas prior to finished goods shipment. Complete Nonconforming Material Reports (NCRs) for all rejected materials and coordinate follow-up meetings with affected operators and supervisor. Update and maintain QC boards, quality communications, and posted quality alerts. Create all Certificates of Conformance (COCs) in accordance with customer requirements. Prepare and complete customer-specific certification packets prior to finished goods shipment. Perform material verification by reviewing shop papers, work orders, and production documentation. The Quality Technician role provides support with quality requirements, resin inventory and blending management, while maintaining safe work practices. This role reports to the Quality Control Supervisor or Quality Control Manager based on the location. Accountabilities Quality System Resin Handling Cross-Training & Development Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support compliance with existing & new product quality requirements including quality control sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques. Assist in resin inventory and blending management. Operate, calibrate and conduct verification of testing and blending equipment. Prioritize and test incoming raw materials, maintaining documentation as required. Conduct quality line inspections, including outgoing shipments of finished goods, and assist with audits including process adherence. Use raw material and finished product test results to develop or modify blends for pipe production. Maintain testing and procedural documentation as required. Report, enter, and maintain required data, including quality records, and documents. Conduct first article and finished product testing, identifying and communicating necessary process adjustments to production team. Identify out of spec results and work with Supervisor and Operators to resolve. Properly label, segregate, and report any product (finished good) found to be out of specification. Serve as a quality check for Prinsco, reporting all quality concerns immediately. Assist in training, orientating, coaching and communicating job expectations for quality. Serve as a back-up for quality supervisor. Conduct required testing on resale items received from OEM's. Load and unload resin lots from delivery trucks and place them into inventory. Verify incoming resin lots and miscellaneous deliveries are correct per issued purchase orders and invoices. Verify outgoing shipments of resin lots are properly packaged and loaded in accordance with issued invoices and bill of ladings. Properly label and store resin lots in warehouse, and ensure accurate inventories are maintained. Palletize empty and flattened resin boxes for shipment. Prepare necessary valves and system controls to ensure correct flow of resin lots to process and storage. Focus on cross-training, continuous learning and improvement. Participate and support the Continuous Improvement (CI) culture. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of six months of production or quality / material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data/facts/drawings to support valid conclusions and to solve practical problems or deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to work with mathematical concepts and statistical analysis. Proficient with MS Office products and MS D365 experience required. Ability to achieve forklift certification. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds minimally as needed. Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday. Standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday. Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors. About the Role The Quality Technician is responsible for quality inspection for all products to ensure they conform to all applicable company and quality standards. This position will test products after, in process, and in final stages to ensure quality levels are met.
