What You Will Be Doing:
You'll apply your technical expertise and experience in SIGINT to create training products we design, develop, and deliver to address our customers' needs and performance gaps. You'll be an integral member of a project team working with instructional designers, graphic artists, software programmers, and project managers.
As a training developer, you'll be assigned tasks including: assisting in defining and detailing specific job and duty requirements, storyboarding courseware and writing curriculum, and reviewing the accuracy of multi-media content that we develop. During storyboarding, you'll use your subject matter expertise to assist in designing engaging content, identifying relevant and current media images, and incorporating innovative approaches to interactive and animated presentation techniques. The production team will rely on you to access, navigate, and interpret information contained in Government-furnished technical manuals and information systems and to explain these concepts to other members of the team who are less familiar with the subject matter.

Required Qualifications:
Prior active-duty military service within the last 5 years.
Experience as a MOS 35S Signals Acquisition/Exploitation Analyst.
Experience designing, developing or administrating military training.

Position Overview

Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Tactical Training Group Atlantic (TTGL) in Virginia Beach, VA as a Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) Training Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Training SMEs are highly-skilled persons with knowledge gained over years of experience at senior levels. They promote greater information sharing for staffs and stakeholders. They provide realistic as well as reliable, consistent support and well developed recommendations to various audiences in training and real world events. They will maintain the integrity of the training objectives, and maintain a knowledge base that is consistent with the requirements that covers the full spectrum of tasks listed in the contract. SMEs serve as the catalyst for developing and evaluating requirements. They provide the expertise and insight to support programs and leaders at all levels, including very senior levels, civilian and military sectors. They are experienced subject matter experts in their fields of expertise.
Functional Area duties include, but not limited to:
Assist with curriculum development, academics, and instruction related to the Maritime Fires Course (formerly JADOCS Course); i.e., provide expert academic and operational instruction in JADOCS, including software and hardware configuration, to fleet fires personnel
Perform basic operator and system administrator functions on JADOCS, an integral part of the academic course for training fleet users. This includes providing JADOCS software and hardware configuration, system operation, database management (including red database issues) and tactical employment of these systems in a dynamic maritime fires environment
Utilize/operate C4I systems (e.g., Theater Battle Management Core System [TBMCS] and JADOCS) in support of exercises/events and daily tasks
Support the Fires Cell in support of FST and LVC training events
Provide feedback and/or assessment of exercise results, including assessment of Navy Mission Essential Tasks (NMET) in the area of maritime fires during regularly scheduled Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP) events (e.g., FST) and other exercises/events, as required
Assist in developing processes to align maritime fires program with established U.S. Navy warfare training system processes and the Fleet Training Continuum (FTC)
Assist government USN counterparts (OPNAV/program office, Numbered Fleet Commands [NFC], TYCOM staffs, etc.) on JADOCS/fires-related issues and the development and incorporation of training system requirements
Requirements
Experience:
Three (3) years' recent experience (within the last 10 years) with fire support in a position involving JADOCS and associated digital fires control systems
Five (5) years' experience on a Strike Group or Numbered Fleet Command staff or equivalent DoD staff in a position involving GCCS-M/JADOCS and associated system operations
Five (5) years' experience at the senior instructor/evaluator level with JADOCS support and operations involvement with all aspects of JADOCS configuration and practical applications
Two (2) years' experience as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) operator
Attendance at the following courses is desired, but not required:
- Joint Fires and Effects Course (JOFEC)
- Joint Air Operations Command & Control Course (JAOC2)
- Joint Targeting School (JTS)
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Duties:
* Create, update, and maintain site-specific configuration records in Configuration Management Professional (CMPro) relational database.
* Draft, edit, execute, and maintain HW/SW/FW CM Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Establish and maintain configuration baselines.
* Establish lines of communication with ISEAs, SSAs, associated systems' PORs' PMWs for insight and tracking on software and hardware changes/releases.
* Participate, as a major stakeholder, in the efforts to implement process HW/SW/FW CM improvements.
