What You'll Do
PURPOSE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key member of executive management team and responsible for significant contribution to overall direction and strategic management for the business
Regular reporting on progress and status updates, provide summary reports and recommendations to management.
Implement key performance indicators and benchmarks to manage success and productivity of each functional area
Responsible for:
Improving productivity and efficiencies at the corporate and branch levels
Improving and managing operating expense through segments to improve overall drop thru and EBIT $
Oversee and direct Purchasing, Safety, Warehouse Operations and Clearinghouse.
Review, update and create documented SOP to ensure world class sales operations and service platform.
Through regional operations managers, and working with branch management teams, implement and oversee all sales operations (order management, inventory, warehouse, logistics, etc.) and ensure efficiencies within the G&A cost categories.
Serve as the project leader for acquisition integration, to include business system implementations.
Represent Crawford on Sonepar operational committees.
Participates in and follows all Crawford policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc).
Perform other duties, assigned projects, and job responsibilities as requested by President
Attend internal and external meetings as a leader of the business segment
What You Bring
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Extensive knowledge of operations and distribution industry. Excellent Eclipse knowledge and P&L mastery. At least 10 years in Distribution and 5 years in management.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Four-year college degree preferred plus 10+ years of industry related experience. Highly effective communicator, both verbal and written, and Advanced management or supervisory experience.

As a warehouse associate, you're key to driving a great customer experience by getting products from our warehouse to our customers. What You'll Do
As a wire cutter, you'll coil, spool, cut and label wire for customer orders using wire cutting machinery. You'll work in a warehouse with a supportive team, and if you've never cut wire before, we can offer on-the-job training. Measuring and cutting wire is repetitive, so if you like getting into a rhythm, this job is you. Attention to detail, math skills, and the ability to stand for the majority of your shift and lift or pull heavy objects will help you be successful in this role.
You will:
* Review customer orders and determine the right size reel and right type, size and color of wire needed to complete the order
* Measure and cut wire using machinery
* Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine
* Restock and replenish wire inventory
* Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations

* Ability to lift, push and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. on regular basis or up to 70 lbs. with supportive equipment

Counter Sales Associate
Location: Katy, TX
Job type: Full time
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
What You'll Do
As a Counter Sales Associate, you help contractors purchase electrical products at our branch. You're the friendly face they see when they enter our location, helping them get what they need and get back to the job site. If you like interacting with customers and learning about different products, you could be a good candidate for this position. On a typical day you will:
* Take orders by phone or through email
* Greet and assist customers who enter the branch
* Retrieve orders from the warehouse that are ready to be picked up
* Work with our customers to fulfill pre-order requests
* Load orders into customers' vehicles or delivery trucks
* May provide product information to customers (product training provided)
* Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed [include only if applicable at this branch]
* Upsell complementary products to customers during visit/call

What You Bring
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Ability to lift and carry objects that may weigh up to 50 pounds (moving with equipment)
* Basic computer skills for entering orders
* Willingness to learn about our products through on-the-job training
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred, but not required:
* Previous sales or retail experience
* Previous customer service experience
* Spanish language abilities are a plus [include only if applicable at this branch]

Position Summary:The Distribution Manager position develops, implements, and manages logistic strategies designed to ensure continuous distribution of product consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals. Manages and coordinates the order processing and distribution of products. Assigns supervisor's specific duties, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees activities of employees engaged in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading trucks and in storing, retrieving, packing, and distributing finished goods
Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming production products and assembling customer orders for delivery
Ensures orderly stacking/storage of product, picking and staging of outgoing shipments in accordance with high level of productivity and that incoming and outgoing shipments are complete and free of damage
Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, analyzes warehouse inventory, and provides reports showing slow-moving and/or surplus stock
Oversees reclamation of damaged merchandise
Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities
Manages policies and procedures that result in the maximization of sales through timely deliveries.
Timely and efficiently maintains accurate and necessary department records and documentation
Recommends measures to improve distribution methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency
Ensures appropriate maintenance of equipment and a clean and safe work environment
Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices
May hire, train, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
Coordinates activities with sales, record control, purchasing, and transportation departments
Optimize and coordinate fulfillment order lifecycle
Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service
Ensure that all products and services are consistent and meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations
Assess opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency
Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement initiatives

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent experience/education combination
Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in distribution management
Demonstrated ability to drive results
