Job Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor is responsible for shipping accurate counts of product to customers in a timely manner using the safest and quickest methods and identifying product that is received for damage and keeping accurate counts. The Distribution Center (DC) Supervisor plans, administers, and supervises the warehouse workforce to complete daily warehouse activities and to meet daily productivity standards. This person ensures that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained. The DC Supervisor is responsible for load planning/scheduling shipments with carriers and coordinating internal requirements with management to support the customer's delivery requirements. The DC Supervisor also oversees delivery scheduling and coordinates shipping and delivery schedules to obtain the most efficient use of resources. The purpose of this position is to move, organize & supply material to customers. This position ensures timely and accurate shipment and/or receipt of finished goods; assists with the maintenance of an organized and clean work area within the department for an efficient and safe work environment.
