Can be a fun job to kearn the food game.
Management takes care of its people at the top and nobody else.
Easy job for me
Nothing at all because they dont consider employees. They also cut people's hours to get Big bonuses.
Needs upper management to babysit these store managers better. Theres no reason to try if it were up to management.
Promising to do the best job and put the company first. Wasted my time with this Greenwood Arkansas location. 8 yrs and 3 Managers. 1 who still drinks at work with his assistant managers. They get raises and promotions while people like me get shafted and lied to.

Getting to see and serve so many customers. The customers are what makes it work it.
Not consistent. Trying to manage a crew of boisterous teenagers that do o not care about the job at hand. They work almost every holiday. The owner can make all the difference in the world.
It's literally 6 miles from my home.
I would be willing to invest more in those that I have in charge, that I have chosen to oversee my business. Team building training between day shift and night shift. I would require all managers, shift leaders, those in charge, to work the shift opposite their own for a 2 week period the first time and then for one week following. This world be a quarterly training "wake-up", respect, support your co managers training.

Very Team motivated culture. Most stores have decent General Managers in them
I'm sure this isn't Sonic wide but my Franchisee Capped my pay which means I will no longer be eligible for Salary increases. Some Franchisee require 55+ hours a week and when your not getting raises it just seems not worth it.
I have been with Sonic a total of 10 years with a 3 year break in the middle. I will say I liked it better before Inspire Brands bought into the Sonic Brand. I think the best thing about Sonic is definitely the bonds you make and the Dr. Pepper Games.
Fairly easy to reach
I think that if the people at corporate actually worked in the stores more and didn't just have Area reps that visited once every year to 6 months it would improve the culture of most drive-ins
I was honestly just myself, slightly awkward but very knowledgeable and showed that to my interviewers when offered a store.
Salary is a little low, Bonuses are higher than average but also very hard to achieve given the Metrics you have to hit.
Good
My crew and customers. The store was a mess when I got there. Great workers and a Great community but it just desperately lacked Leadership.
I was getting paid about $700 on bi-weekly paychecks.
The management was the worst I have ever seen in any fast-food establishment. It was dirty and disgusting in there, and the manager was so rude. I had to work the closing shift every single night even when I had requested off and every time I said I was not able to work that shift I was threatened with being terminated.
Getting free food.
There was nothing good.
I would fire everyone who works there currently and bring in all new, clean people.
Answering basic questions.
It is below minimum wage, $10.30 an hour and they think that the tips make up for the rest of them.
I don't have an opinion on that.
Getting to see friends who worked there was pretty good, but they all left, saying they felt the same way about the place as I do.
