Essential Duties of an Echo Vascular Technologist:
The primary purpose of this position is to perform diagnostic echocardiograms and/or vascular ultrasounds for use by providers in the diagnosis of heart disease and structural abnormalities.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians. Includes vascular technologists.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**
Must be registered or registry eligible by ONE of the two following accrediting bodies:
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(S) with Sonography
+ ARDMS-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
+ Must be credentialed in Physics, Abdomen, and OBGYN within 1 year of hire date
+ AHA BLS required prior to orientation completion
