Review digital images as required, ensuring a high-quality image. Ensure proficiency in use of the Radiology Information System and PACS. Train others in the use of the Radiology Information System and PACS. Assist in scheduling add on or emergent patients. Interview patients in order to obtain information pertinent to the examination being performed. Coordinate, collaborate, & communicate with other imaging modalities on providing efficient care of patients undergoing multiple modality exams. Create and sustain a team environment communicate effectively and appropriately and work collaboratively. Assist radiologist during interventional imaging procedures to ensure compliance of JCAHO and departmental policies and procedures and safety standards. Report issues of non-compliance to these standards to the Team Leader immediately. Assist in performance of quality control studies and gathering of quality improvement data as required.
