Processes and labels samples for laboratory submission. Generates reports on examinations and procedures and ensures that they are sent to the referring physician. Submits billing for patients with appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures. Demonstrates techniques and procedures to students and residents as assigned through the Department of OB/GYN. Performs decontamination on equipment. Minimum Qualifications Education Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Licensure Current and valid certification in Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) to perform first-trimester nuchal translucency for risk assessment must be obtained within one year of hire. Current and valid certification in OB/GYN with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and reach above the shoulder frequently in a clinical setting.
