Monitors supplies in assigned work area and notifies manager when shortages occur. Assures to stock assigned area during each shift and monitor expiration of time sensitive supplies and takes appropriate action when needed.
Maintains current license, CMEs and participates in various applicable educational activities as per regulatory/requirements.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Successful completion of a one-year program in ultrasound technology.
Required License/Certifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in physics, abdomen-pelvis, Ob-Gyn by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.

Lifts, positions, pushes, and transfers patients, supplies, and/or equipment as needed
Performs related clerical duties such as sending images to PACS, archiving images, and case editing of computer requests and reports
As required, maintains records and enters patient information into the computer through the use of the Radiology Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA) package
Qualifications
English language proficiency
Registered or registry eligible in Sonography by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), shall have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the specialized modality in a Level 1 hospital setting, and shall be able to work with minimal or no supervision
Note - Student internship and training time spent in a radiology setting does not count toward the two (2) years of experience
Experience with Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS), experience with Agfa PACS is preferred but not required
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
