As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide Sonography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. This is a casual position working various shifts, flexible schedule. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Sonography Imaging Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure Explains and prepares patients for sonography imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately imaged Performs routine and advanced Sonography imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure Adjusts sonography scan parameters correctly and as needed Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, to and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) Maintains an orderly and clean work area, including sanitizing equipment, to promote good safety habits for patients and team members Maintains the American College of Radiology (ACR) toolkit and accreditation requirements (5%) Sonography Department Support Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades Monitor medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary Assist with the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable (5%) Other Duties as Assigned Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

The Perinatal Sonographer in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Service is responsible for providing an advanced level of sonography services for the woman experiencing a high-risk pregnancy and her unborn baby. The Perinatal Sonographer works under the direction of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist (physician) through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the Maternal/Fetal Diagnosis/Concern and the gestational age of the pregnancy. Treats all patients in an age and culturally sensitive manner. Responsible for meeting the established practice standards for patient care and Perinatal Imaging as defined by AIUM and by the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Standards of Care for this high-risk population. The Sonographer will produce multi-dimensional (2D, 3D, 4D) ultrasonic recordings of internal organs limited to OB-GYN for use by physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm based upon business need, travel to Edina and Maple Grove, work every 6th Saturday in Maple Grove. ogi | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Selects equipment for use in ultrasound setup according to specifications of examination. Explains process to patient, and instructs and assists patient in assuming physical position for examination. Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to organ to be examined, depth of field, and other specifications of test. Keys test data and patient information into computer of ultrasound equipment to maintain record of test results. Moves transducer, by hand, over specified area of body and observes sound wave display screen to monitor quality of ultrasonic pattern produced. Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for exceptional, patient focused Cardiac Sonographer to join our Regions Hospital's team and make a difference for our patients and our community. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you'll get exposure to a variety of cardiac care procedures and work with a team that is made up of the best cardiologists and heart surgeons. Cardiac Sonographers will perform echocardiographic procedures on adult patients in the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory including M-Mode echocardiography, Two-Dimensional echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, pulsed, continuous wave, and color flow doppler echocardiography, stress echocardiography, dobutamine echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and to perform related duties as assigned. This position supports and participates in achieving departmental goals. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-4:15 PM, rotating weekends and on-call required. Required Qualifications: Registration or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or RCS must be obtained within six months of hire. Will be required to become certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Preferred Qualifications: Completion of an accredited program in echocardiography or a bachelor's degree in life science is preferred.
