As the only Maternal-Fetal specialists in the region associated with an academic medical center, our specialists bring their own expertise as well as collaboration with neonatologists, geneticists and other University of Minnesota Health specialists to deliver the highest level of care from preconception to post-partum. **This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work on the day shift, Monday through Friday. You will be working at the following locations: Minneapolis, Edina, Burnsville, Maplewood and Brooklyn Park, MN.** The Perinatal Sonographer in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Service is responsible for providing an advanced level of sonography services for the woman experiencing a high-risk pregnancy and her unborn baby. The Perinatal Sonographer works under the direction of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist (physician) through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the Maternal/Fetal Diagnosis/Concern and the gestational age of the pregnancy. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide Sonography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.
