Utilize advanced sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures according to anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic findings. Exercise independent judgment to distinguish normal versus abnormal structures and document findings appropriately. Select appropriate still images and sonographic clips to present to the interpreting physician. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam, explaining procedures and answering questions. Enter charges and document all imaging studies accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance within the ultrasound area. Assist cardiology or other specialty imaging patients when applicable. Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education, networking, reading professional literature, and engaging in professional organizations. Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient clinic operations. Qualifications & Requirements Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations; professional standards of care; licensure requirements; and Clinic policies, procedures, and bylaws. Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or related field.
