Security Clearance
This position does not currently require a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
Sandia will conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Furthermore, employees in New Mexico need to pass a U.S. Air Force background screen for access to Kirtland Air Force Base. Job Summary:
PsiQuantum was founded in 2016 with the singular goal of building a general-purpose, fault tolerant, silicon photonic quantum computer. We have assembled a world class team of engineers and scientists who are working on the entire quantum computing stack, from hardware to applications.
We offer a competitively paid internship and industrial placement opportunity working on the solution of partial differential equations (PDEs) with a fault-tolerant quantum computer (FTQC). The internship has a duration of 3-6 months with a flexible start date throughout the year. This is a remote position in Europe, preferred in Berlin, Germany (we have colleagues in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany).
Classical computers have been used for a long time to solve PDEs. However, they are reaching their limits for large-scale settings and very complex dynamics. Solving classically intractable problems with a fault-tolerant quantum computer requires new methods tailored to industrial applications. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who want to join this exciting effort and engage in cutting-edge research to advance quantum computing as a real-world technology. As an intern, you will collaborate with world experts in fault-tolerant quantum computing for PDE solutions. You will contribute to developing practical applications for large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers in PDE and ODE problems.
The internship role requires a challenging mix of creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of the numerical solution of linear systems, PDEs and ODEs.

* Be actively enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, or a related discipline in United States for the entire duration of the internship

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Work with product management, engineering, threat researchers and sales teams to understand emerging use cases and buyers for DDoS and cybersecurity and predictive operations
* Suggest product roadmap enhancements that can shorten the sales cycle or target buyers with early demand
* Work with engineering to propose innovative new approaches to solve problems using recent and emerging technologies
* Under supervision, propose pricing and packaging solutions
It would be useful if you meet these qualifications, but not a requirement:
* Background knowledge of application security technologies such as API protection, BOT protection and next-generation Web Application Firewalls (NG-WAF)
* Background knowledge of DDoS mitigation and detection
* Proficiency in Python, Java, and AI libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
* Practical knowledge in adapting machine learning and LLMs to networking products
* Excellent linear algebra and statistical skills
* A passion for resourceful and creative problem-solving
* Highly inquisitive and not afraid to ask the hard questions

About the Role:
Dolby Vision delivers a premium HDR experience across devices from large televisions to mobile screens. With the recent announcement of Dolby Vision 2, we're pushing picture quality and features to new heights. We're seeking an intern with machine learning expertise to help optimize the performance of our ML models used in Dolby Vision image processing pipelines. You'll investigate and implement approaches to improve inference speed and efficiency while maintaining model quality. This role offers hands-on experience with production ML systems in a world-class media technology environment.
About the Team:
You'll join our Dolby Vision Imaging Platform team, working closely with both engineering and research groups. Our team focuses on delivering core image processing solutions, enabling next generation Dolby Vision 2 playback and service workflows.
What You'll Do:

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $55-62/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. About the Internship
Okta is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Systems Analyst Intern to help us support our core business and Human Resources systems. As a Business Systems Analyst Intern you will gain hands-on experience in HR systems by supporting various projects and initiatives within Okta. Who We Are Looking For

Basic understanding of cloud-based applications, data structures, and reporting; exposure to Workday, Greenhouse, Cornerstone Ondemand or similar HRIS is a plus.
