Job Description
Sorenson is seeking a strategic, creative, and experienced Director of Internal Communications who is passionate about igniting our employee experience through strategic communications and value-aligned programs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of all internal communications and social media with an aim to build internal understanding of the company's business strategy, culture and values and to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.
This position will actively support employee engagement and change management efforts through company-wide employee communications through existing and future communications channels and vehicles including new and emerging technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with the CHRO to develop inspiring, compelling, and connected communications, and ensure the internal communications program is successful in keeping all key stakeholders well-informed to achieve business objectives.
Simultaneously manage, coordinate, and execute a number of complex internal communications and announcement projects within stringent timelines.
Manage the company intranet structure and content.
Coordinate with the engagement team on Viva Engage groups and content.
Assist with quarterly company Town Hall events and agendas.
Manage Staffbase and coordinate with IT on distribution lists and vendor contracts.
Work to ensure employees feel engaged, informed, and connected, as well as have a strong connection to Sorenson's business strategy so they can do their best work.
In partnership with the CHRO, develop and implement company-wide internal communication and change enablement strategies and plans that engage, align, and inspire employees with Sorenson's vision and business strategy, and drive employees' understanding of business priorities, key initiatives, values and culture.
In partnership with the CHRO, define the key internal communications priorities and leverage these to create multi-stakeholder, multi-channel communications strategies, and related tactics.
Serve as strategic business partner and provide counsel and executive writing support as needed and develop messaging and internal presentations for company updates, key initiatives, industry issues, and other topics.
Assess, evaluate, and track metrics that demonstrate effectiveness of communication strategy and approaches.
Ensure consistency and alignment of internal communication activities across all functions and locations. Ensure messaging and positioning harmonization and consistency across the organization.
Prepare communications that support global employee engagement and change management initiatives, including for the UK and Brazil. Produce compelling and relevant omni-channel stories rooted in our company purpose, priorities, and values.
Serve as a liaison and spokesperson for the human resource leadership team, providing collaborative guidance and advice on integrated communication strategies to enable employee morale, productivity, retention, and policy compliance.
Guide the vision and ensure there is an ongoing cadence of events and activities to foster team building and community.
Partner with Marketing & TA teams to build strong internal and external brand recognition through our LinkedIn profile and company website as a desired employer for top talent.
Represent the voice of the employee to leadership and reflect the employee voice in internal and external messaging.

Pay Range: The estimated salary range for this position is $24.48 to $35.48 hourly. Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
