As you'd expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to. Role Details * This role is ideal for the early birds! Commencing on $28.12 / hour for approx. 3 months, then increases to $30.07/ hour + 12% Superannuation. * Extensive, supportive (paid) training on commencement, Monday - Friday, 3 hours / day on a rotating roster * You will need to be fully available, Monday - Friday, between 6 am - 5.30 pm, (the majority of shifts will be early morning) * As shifts will rostered across the market, you will need to be willing and able to travel to Cleveland, Bulimba, Cannon Hill, Capalaba, Wynnum, Beenleigh, Carindale, Loganholme and Springwood You'll be * Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace. * Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes. * Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance. Advanced Metal Identification & Sorting Accurately identify and distinguish high-nickel, high-temperature, and specialty alloys using handheld analyzers (e.g., XRF), spark testing, magnets, and other verification tools. Sort and separate ferrous, non-ferrous, and specialty alloys including-but not limited to-Inconel, Hastelloy, titanium, stainless grades, red/white metals, and high-temp superalloys.
