Duties and Responsibilities:

Part time Federal Express Corporation (FEC) employees work one shift a day; full time Federal Express Corporation (FEC) employees work two shifts.
Shift lengths vary based on package volume generally part time employees work between 3 and 6 hours a day. Full time employees can expect to work between 6 and 10 hours.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. JOB TITLE: Store Sorter
REPORT TO: Store Manager
Store Sorter will sort donated goods such as clothing, housewares, and electronic items to determine items that are sellable. Employee may also fill in and /or assist the donation attendant during breaks, busy periods, etc.
Employee will make the determination as to whether donated items should go directly to the store for sale or get sent to the plant. Will handle merchandise with care and pay special attention to how items are packaged for shipment to the plant. Employee will identify items that are sellable on our ecommerce platforms.
Employee will work with other store personnel to increase the flow of merchandise to the sales floor. Will also provide feedback, suggestions and ideas for the betterment of the store.
Employee will maintain a clean, safe and organized work area. Will be willing to accept supervision, understand quality standards and be able to inspect own work. Will perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Employee will annually review the Corporate Responsibility Policy to ensure departmental compliance with it and make suggestions for revisions, additions, etc.
