Position is responsible for the sorting of health care type linen into categories and load sizes as designated by management. Operator will rotate from position to position (cart dumping, soiled linen sorting, sling loading) as scheduled by manager or supervisor. PHYSICAL DEMAND Operators assigned to this area shall have the physical strength to push/pull carts of soiled linen having a weighted capacity of approximately 300-450 pounds. Operator will be required to roll cart (weighing approximately 100 pounds) to a cart wash area for cleaning. Soiled sorting will require that operator regularly lift and open 35-40 pound bags of soiled linen.

Long-Term RECYCLING SORTER $14/hr - M-F 7am - 3pm - Responsibilities: - Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable materials - Sort and unload materials onto trucks or conveyor belts - FAST PACED - MUST BE ABLE TO 'PICK' 40 - 60 ITEMS PER MINUTE - Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials Qualified Candidates will: • Be willing to be trained on sorting and the operations • Be able to stand and work for 8 hours • Have reliable transportation to and from work • Be willing and able to lift up to thirty pounds of material frequently and fifty pounds periodically Daily operations include, but are not limited to: • Production sorting• Fill and empty bins as needed. • Litter collection and disposal• Solid waste collection and disposal • Collection, storage, sorting and transport of recyclable materials that include but are not limited totires, paint, electronics, etc. Requirements: - Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as roll-off trucks, loaders, or forklifts - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks - Strong attention to detail to accurately sort materials - Knowledge of sanitation practices for handling waste materials - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Must be able to lift 50 lbs - MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A URINE DRUG TEST Dress Code: • Long pants (jeans or cargo/utility pants) • Collar shirts or T-shirts with no offensive wording • Safety toe work boots • NO overly long nails or hanging jewelry • NO shorts
