OnTrac Package Handlers play a key role in the daily operations of the facility. This position is responsible for sorting, scanning, loading, and unloading packages accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and sort packages of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs). Scan packages using handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking. Move packages on and off conveyor belts and staging areas. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and OnTrac warehouse protocols. Work as part of a team to meet shift goals and timelines. Report any damaged, missing, or misrouted packages. Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills. Must be, or become, Peco Sorter Certified Line Speed is 155 Bird weight can be anywhere from 9 1/2 pounds - 11 1/2 pounds. Sorter on maestro stand makes sure the birds are open from the back up ventor to the opener, and that the viscera has been removed along with looking for other defects. Final sorters assess every fourth bird for fecal and other defects. Sorters rotate and are responsible, depending on rotation, for using a knife to remove drums with synovitis and major bruising, and wings with bruising and other defects. The persons in the evis department who use scissors are on the back up ventor/opener and don't have to be sorter certified. Everyone from the maestro down on the line is sorter certified.

This role will conduct carcass and carcass part sorting activities and identify any abnormal conditions or defects before carcasses and their parts are presented to online inspectors. The focus will be to separate carcasses, heads, and viscera that are abnormal from those that are normal. Key Responsibilities Observe, palpate, and incise carcass and carcass parts to determine if abnormalities exist. Perform preparation (e.g., cuts) and presentation activities. Follow FSIS regulations and company procedures (e.g., heads, tongues, viscera, carcass). Notify the proper person if you identify, while conducting sorting activities, an animal or carcass you suspect has a reportable or foreign animal disease.
