General purpose of Job: Assist machine operator on projects by feeding hoppers, sorting, traying or bagging.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist machine operator on assigned tasks
Read & understand job instructions in the form of work tickets
Know & follow Letter Shop's Standard Operating Procedures
Responsible for the quality and quantity of each assigned job
Responsible for correct, accurate & quality outcome of tasks assigned.
Immediately report any production issues to shift supervisor.
Ability to sort & containerize all classes of mail
Able to read & understand all associated forms & paperwork
Keep production areas clean at all times
Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Performance Measurement: Performance feedback will take place both verbally and written on a day-to-day as needed basis, recognition in monthly employee recognition meetings, formal training on changes in SOP as needed with a formal review by the supervisor at least annually
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience or training.
Language and Math Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of one & two syllable words. Also to print & speak simple sentences. Ability to add & subtract two digit numbers and to multiply & divide with 10s & 100s.
Physical Demands:
Standing or walking most of the day, may climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, often lift up to 40 lbs & rarely up to 70 lbs. Constant use of hands and arms. Regularly reach with hands and arms, including reaching above shoulder level (Lifting/reaching above shoulder level would seldom be more than 5-10 pounds). Vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, & ability to focus.
Work Environment:
Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes & air borne particles, risk of electrical shock, and exposure to toxic chemicals. The noise level is moderate to loud.

The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.
Job Summary
The Fulfillment Package Handler will distribute materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the fulfillment center.
Hours and Wages
Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
5 hours of OT may be expected each week
Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Load, unload and move palletized freight by hand and with manual and power pallet jacks
Un-palletize and sort freight according to product type and/or destination
Scan barcode labels of packages for tracking and billing purposes
Stack freight onto pallets in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
Secure palletized freight prior to shipment using shrink wrap machines
Assist in the process of picking product according to customer requests
Follow all safety protocols and regulations; report any unsafe acts to management
Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
Perform other required duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal communication skills
Efficient time management skills
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently
Education and Experience
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1+ year of experience in distribution or transportation industry preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to spend a minimum of 8 hours on your feet
Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouse
Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
