Kahut Waste Services, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Transfer Station Sorter to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon. Schedule is Monday - Friday Shift is 5:00 AM -- 10:30 AM Starting wage is $16.25/hour Safety Sensitive: Yes
In this position you will be sorting recyclable materials along with some basic cleaning duties. This is a very fast paced position working in a loud environment. Even though you are working in a covered area, this is an open air facility so you could be working in hot conditions in the summer months and cold conditions in the winter months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sorting Materials
Manually sort recyclable materials such as plastics, metals, cardboard, and paper from waste streams on a conveyor line.

Assist with processing recycled materials for shipping or further processing.
· Quality Control
