SOS Security CEO and leadership

Mr. Silverman has been the Chief Executive Officer of SOS for the past 32 years. He attended the University of Maryland, John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Backster School of Lie Detection. He is a licensed Private Investigator, certified Polygraph Examiner, and Certified Protection Professional. Since 1986, Mr. Silverman has been a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, International Security Management Association, World President’s Organization and the National Council of Investigation and Security Services. He is also former chapter chairman of New Jersey’s Young Presidents Association.

Mr. Walsh has 25 years of law enforcement experience and retired as a Patrol Division Commander Lieutenant. With over 10 years of private security experience he currently holds Security Officer Instructor certification in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Connecticut. Mr. Walsh received an M.Ed. Degree from Seton Hall University, B.S. degree from Rutgers University and an A.S. Degree from Morris County College. He participates in national security seminars at the US Army War College and was also the lead Instructor for the NJSACOP West Point Leadership and Command program. As the Director of Training for SOS, he has developed specialized education and training programs which include consular/ dignitary protection, active shooter, emergency response, crisis management, executive/ close protection and theft prevention. As part of his role in the SOS Special Services Division, Mr. Walsh has conducted and supervised protection details for dignitaries and prominent individuals in and out of the United States, as well as providing personal executive protection for Fortune 500 business executives traveling abroad.

A 36 year veteran in the field of security, Mr. McDonald has been involved in all facets of the private security industry which includes transportation, entertainment, commercial and nuclear security. Mr. McDonald is an active member of the Buildings and Owners Management Association, American Society of Industrial Security, Connecticut Police Chiefs Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. Lochli has over 22 years of Information Technology experience, working with public companies across industries from Colocation/Outsourcing, Commercial Realty and Pharmaceutical/BioPharmaceutical. With a career spent architecting networks, supporting operations, communications and security, Mr. Lochli’s background includes but is not limited to Datacenter design, Network Architecture, Information Systems planning, development, support and systems integration, business continuity and disaster planning. Mr. Lochli has a background in security forces and terrorist tactics while serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps.

Ms. Manghisi is a retired Captain from the New Jersey State Police and a law enforcement professional with over 26 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience. Ms. Manghisi’s background reflects accomplishments in special operations, investigations, intelligence, undercover operations, security operations, training, policy and executive management. Prior to her retirement, she was a captain in the Special Operations Section and Emergency Management Section of the Homeland Security Branch. Ms. Manghisi also served as the Chief of Staff to the Superintendent. She has had a diverse career within the State Police and has been cited numerous times for her undercover work in both Organized Crime and Narcotics. She is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University and Thomas Edison State College. Ms. Manghisi serves as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff for SOS at the SOS Security Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.

Mr. Gustafson has over 25 years of financial experience, which include public accounting, distribution and manufacturing. Mr. Gustafson holds a B.S. from the University of Scranton, is a Certified Public Accountant and a current member of both AICPA and the Knights of Columbus.
